A customer can only register if in possession of an active Econet Call Home SIM card, registered in his or her own name. There are no monthly service charges for this account. Customers are only charged for the trans-actions they have initiated. Sending money and airtime purchase are done for FREE. Once the cash-in has been completed, the funds will appear instantly in the EcoCash wallet and the customer will be able to transact on EcoCash immediately.

If you are happy with the quote, you can go to any one of the several participating Flash vendors and give the quote reference number to the Flash ven-dor. The vendor will key the reference number into their Flash terminal and ask you for the exact quoted Rand amount. When you have given the Agent the Rand and they have processed it on the system, you will instantly receive an SMS notifying you of a successful “cash-in” to your EcoCash wallet.
